Overview of CBS data
Data for CBS sentinel events is already available where services are rendered using standard monitoring tools and data management systems. The sentinel event data can be found where these services provided. These places are listed below.
HIV Testing
The data tool used is MOH 362 register associated with HIV diagnosis date sentinel event.
HIV care and treatment
The data tool used is EMR, MOH 257 (Green card) associated with diagnosis, ART initiation, CD4 and VL test result dates.
Laboratory
The data tool used is National VL database associated by the HIV diagnosis, PCR for EID, CD4 and viral load results.
Pharmacy
The data tool used is Web Antiretroviral Dispensing Tool (ADT) associated with ART initiation and change dates.
Civil registration and vital statistics registry
The data tool used is Registry of deaths associated with date of death and underlying cause.
